The MCS has a full
calendar for 2007.
Forthcoming
changes to the park, including the new pegged boudaries, Gautrain
construction through the park and the need for members'
support to protect the park's fauna are discussed by chairman
Ellen van Dongen in the latest newsletter.
Earlier,
MCS accepted the
proposed new footprint for the Modderfontein Conservation
Park. The
specialist studies will be included in the
environmental impact assessment. The
summary is available (Adobe reader required - the download
takes about a minute via a 56kb modem).
